Hey guys. I was just following lazyfoos' SDL tutorial when i got stuck on lesson 08. Everytime i try to compile and run the source code the program closes immediately and a window pops up that says "An access violation(segmentation fault) raised in your program.". :S
The compile log:

Compiler: Default compiler
Building Makefile: "C:\Dev-Cpp\Makefile.win"
Executing make...
make.exe -f "C:\Dev-Cpp\Makefile.win" all
make.exe: Nothing to be done for `all'.

Execution terminated
Compilation successful

For me, load_files() is returning false - because I don't have background.png in my directory - is that your problem too? If not, can you step into the code with a debugger and tell us when it's crashing?
