Hi
I have newly installed VB 20008 Express.
What extras do I need to have to allow me to create standalone exes?
This for giving to fellow model railway club members and not for commercial use.

Jump to PostGo to the menu > Build > Build 'project'
Then go to you projects folder, usually in My DocumentsC:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\Vapor\Vapor\bin\Release
And the .exe should be in there

Go to the menu > Build > Build 'project'

Thanks a lot for the reply.
My main concern was in giving the exe to someone else to use.
I think I am correct in saying that it will only run on another computer if it has specific system software ??? installed.
I was trying to find out what other people would need to be able to run my program.

They need the .NET Framework installed.
