I've developed an application for mobile devices that, upon being shut down, continues to show the loading animation for an infinite amount of time. However, I have noticed that once you click on something else, i.e. open another window or folder the animation disappears and does not reappear if you return to the page it was on.
I developed this app using the 3.5 Framework for Windows CE devices and am currently running it on two different handheld scanners with the same problem: a Symbol 8800 series scanner, and a Symbol MC3090 model scanner.
The 8800 is running Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.0 (Build 14053) with an ARM XScale processor and 62 MB of memory.
The MC3090 is running Microsoft Windows CE version 5.00 with an Intel PXA270 Bulverde processor and 62 MB of memory.
