Hello, i've created a simple program for remote cmd.
My friend wants to use it but the server of the remote console does not respond for his requests.
the server is Vista and he has Windows 7. he tried to run both server and client as administrator. anyone knows why it doesn't works on Vista? i tried to run the server on Windows 7 and it doesn't works either. What should i do to gain access to windows sockets on Vista and Windows 7.

Works fine on XP

Almost certainly this is not a socket issue. What are the two applications?
If it is C/C++ and you are using 'spawn', you need to use one of the 'p' suffix spawn variants.
