Does all computer viruses have .exe extension????
If not then how do they get executed in the main memory??

thanks chibex...but i hc something in mind about anti virus....now i can append an lets say a text file with an malicious exe file.an exe file has an offset of 4D 5A
when i convert this text file into its hex format the offset of text file is 00 01. So by simple pattern matching i can relocate the offset of an exe file and ca ths conclude an existence of an malicious activity...
See i could be wrong in all this stuff..I want you to give me suggestions on these
