how open new screen in existing screen in java swing

hello friends i like to make screen like windows my computer in which when we click in local disk and then any folder we don't see any new screen it just open all windows in one screen. is it possible to do in java so that we don't call any new frame and it go on in existing frame

what do you mean 'in'? you can use internalFrames. you can also open them in JPanels, and open them in one single JFrame.

I can't help you with much more, since I don't completely understand what it is you're trying to do.

YOu can use a CardLayout to swap between different JPanels in a JFrame
