I am looking for advice for using the functions of these 2 scripts on the same site. I have been using greybox and a different version of easytabs that didnt require the jquery script. I recently found a version of easytabs that allows the back button to work and for visitors to save favorites.

I have found that there is a conflict between the new version of easytabs and the greybox script. The easytabs script is designed to use jquery and greybox uses a similar script called AJS. From what I have read on the 2 AJS seems to be the better one but I would be ok with either one as long as I can get both functions.

Basically what I am looking for is a tabbed menu that uses javascript so that the pages pre-load as the site is open. I would also like to use something like greybox to open some pages inside the same window so the original page is still partially visible in the background. My test site with this is found at http;//ldself.com/httest.php. I currently have the easytabs script functional which means all links just open normally instead of with the greybox script. Here are the links to my sources for these scripts. Any assistance you can offer would be greatful.

Greybox is found at http://orangoo.com/labs/GreyBox/.
AJS made by the same people as greybox is found at http://orangoo.com/labs/AJS/.

The easytabs script I have is found at http://www.alfajango.com/blog/jquery-easytabs-plugin/.

In case anyone was following this script for a fix for the same problem I did find a solution. Since jquery seems to be more popular I searched for an alternative to greybox and found one called colorbox. It does the same thing except the background isn`t completely transparent like in greybox. The website for colorbox is http://colorpowered.com/colorbox/.
