You should start with basic concept first if you are a newbie in .net.
ASP.NET is a technology which allows you to develop rich web applications using .NET coding language such as C#, VB.NET.
So, please go step by step towards the advance concept. And always try to implement concept you read so that you are very much familiar with C#.
After you are familiar with C#, you can explore ASP.NET.
