Hey all,

I am in the beginning stages of developing a new site for a local Chamber of Commerce, does anyone have any interactive mapping ideas? The map will includes various items like lodges, hotels, landmarks, etc.

I REALLY like Mapquest's functionality but want their Vibe api, however I don't think it's open for integration.

The natural choice is Google Maps. It's API is public and well documented and the feature list is as long as your arm.
