I am developing an website in wampserver which was working fine but when I installed Oracle 9i ,Oracle working but wamp server sopped .I edited the httpd.conf as follows :
chaged port no "Listen 80" to "#Listen 12.34.56.78:8080 Listen 8080" and restarted wamp server but didn't work then I stopped "OracleMtsRecoveryService" but wampserver is not starting. If any body can ...

Jump to PostJust a note the number sign # is a comment, if you want to enable listening on a specific ip you have to remove that. Bye.

Hi ,
This is solved . I am giving you the solution. Just go to Oracle HTTP Server and Stop HTTP Server . Open wampserver->Apache->httpd.conf then open the file then change "Listen 80" to " "Listen 8080" and "#Listen 12.34.56.78:80" to "#Listen 12.34.56.78:8080" . Restart WampServer . Don't forget to start as "http://localhost:8080/index.php and "http://localhost:8080/phpmyadmin/"
