Hi,

Sadly, I use MS Access as the backend db for our Coldfusion website. Every once in awhile, I receive the following error: "Error Executing Database Query. Operation must use an updateable query"

This is in reference to an insert query that I have running. This query works most of the time, except for when I receive the above error. Any ideas on why I get intermittent updateable query errors. I could understand if it never worked and the permissions were wrong, but that is not the case.

Also, is there a way for me to detect this error before it occurs and bypass the query, if needed.

Thank you for any assistance you can give me on this.
