i believe my father in law used the small side of my kids partition to put all their stuff on and now i keep getting the message that im outta space. so i put xp on the big side.. my question is..can i transfer stuff from the small side to the big side and then rewrite xp over the small side without messing anything up?

yes you can but its kinda risky.
right click on my computer and choose manage then click disk management. Take a screenshot and post it here.
