plenty of hd space
windows 98 ( maybe not SE)
Pentium II ~350 mhz

do you guys think this will work on my antiquated pc?

thanks

yes, go for it. and while you're at it, get a new pc.

Yeah, I think so too.

yeah ram/cpu should be ok but im not sure if your os is ok. SE inclides a lot more driver support.

it will work.. You will get a driver CD along with the player. The drivers will support the specified OS

Ok what you have is a Pentium II - 350Mhz.
What is required: Pentium III - 500 mhz

I don't think its going to run properly.

You can find out if you have SE by right clicking on My computer on the desktop and choose properties. It will show you there.

If it's not got a driver CD with the USB drivers specifically for Standard 98 then you will more than likely have issues. One of the great things about 98SE was that USB Support was improved to no end. If it's not got a driver CD, have a flick around on the net to see if the manufacturer had drivers for your OS.
Good luck!

this thread is a year old, if the guy had any problems, he would have asked for help long ago.

I know, but people still come across old threads from Google searches and the like looking for answers (thats how I found this site), so it might be of use to someone eventually.
