My PC is really messed up and I don't know what to do. I tried running spyware and it doesn't work. I have been trying to run ComboFix on my computer and it simply won't run. Also, my computer won't let me search for spyware and download anything. I was able to run the microsoft removal tool and that detected something but when I rebooted my computer was still messed up. My hijack this log is below. Please help! Thanks

THanks again

Let's try this:
Open Task Manager. To do this hit the Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys.
When Task Manager opens find the following running processes;

aIg.exe
winlogin.exe
csrssc.exe

If you find any of the above then highlight and click End Task.
IF you are able to stop these then see if you can do the following;

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M) to your Desktop.

  • DoubleClick mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install MBA-M.
  • Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt.

Reboot the computer.
Run HJT again and place a check mark next to the following entries if they remain:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Config\csrss.exe
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntos.exe,

After you have placed the check marks click the Fix Checked button.
Exit HJT
Reboot the computer.
Run HJT again and save the log.
Post back here with the MBA-M log and that new HJT log.

Let's try this .... Judy

I am having problems downloading the anti-malware. I had all 3 of those tasks and ended them but it still won't go download. I need to jump drive it over to my computer i think.

Please try the following routine given in the MBA-M forum to see if you can get Malwarebytes to run.

* Click on Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc and click OK
* On the View menu click on Show hidden devices
* Browse to Non-Plug and Play Drivers and you should see something like TDSSserv.sys
* Highlight that driver and right click on it and select DISABLE
* Now RESTART your computer.
* Download a copy of Malwarebytes but DO NOT run it yet.
* Rename the downloaded installer file to any generic name such as your own name but keep the .EXE extension on the file and run it.
* Once the program is installed go to the UPDATE tab and try to update the program if you can.
* Then go to the SCANNER tab and run a Full System and allow MBAM to fix anything found.

I did everything.

Here is the MBAM log:

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.31

My computer is definetly running better so far. Thanks for the help. I can't really tell if its completely fine now.

This second HJT log is somewhat different from the first.
May I ask, had you rebooted the computer after MBA-M and BEFORE running that HJT log?
The entries noted by cohen, while not required to run at start up, unless you want them to run, had to do with your printer and the AOL home page and really are incidental, and could have been pointed out to you but the removal from auto start would be your choice. There also are others listed which are not required to auto start but that would be up to you to decide if you want that list or not.
But now on this new log the following entries show up which were not showing on the first log and so I question them:
O2 - BHO: {917c00e8-d54d-37ca-8424-1055572d56b7} - {7b65d275-5501-4248-ac73-d45d8e00c719} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ztpnoe.dll (I could find no information on this whatsoever so I would label it suspicious)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7D3E343A-AEC7-4C86-A2C4-00E80721F43E} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\jkkIARjH.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BUNGIE] bungie.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [BUNGIE] bungie.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BitComet] "C:\Program Files\BitComet\BitComet.exe" /tray
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BUNGIE] bungie.exe

The O4 listings above are newly added items in the Auto Starting programs on the computer.
BitComet of course is a P2P sharing program and we don't condone this type of activity here but that is your choice. There no reason, however, for this to be in auto start. It can be run manually.
I don't know if you have been using P2P while trying to clean the computer or not, but since these entries have now shown on this new log I really would recommend that you UPDATE MBA-M and run a new Full System Scan with it and have it Remove any new items found, save the log. Then REBOOT the computer. Scan again with HJT, save the log and then post back here with both new logs.
Judy

Ok. Will do. I believe I just ran a HJT log and the computer wasn't rebooted.
