Cannot see VX2 there, unless you have an earlier version.

Download HijackThis selfextracting zip version from here. Once downloaded, double click on the file & it will install into it's own, permanent folder.
Start HJT & press the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. When the scan is finished a window will pop up giving you the option of where to save it. Save it to desktop where it is easy to access. Open the log file and copy the entire contents of the file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is necessary for the running of your system.

And this is how my scan starts, whatever I do......

Please do all of the following;

-

download the VX cleaner plug in for Adaware. Install it, then open Adaware & go to *add-ons* & run the plug-in. If anything is found, select *clean system* & when done, reboot & run Adaware & let it finish the clean-up. Reboot again.

===============

We'll need to unload Spybot's Teatimer before we begin. To do this, right-click on the icon in the quick launch toolbar at the bottom on the screen, then select "Exit".

===============

Download CWShredder 2.14 from here. Run it and press the *fix,* not scan and allow it to clean the infection. Close all browser and explorer windows before hitting the fix button.

===============

Download, unzip to your desktop About:Buster and run it, then:

1. Click "Update".
2. Click "Check For Update"

(If no new version is available, skip to step #4.)

3. Click "Download Update", and wait for it to be installed.
4. Click "Start".

(Wait for the initial ADS scan to complete.)

5. Click "Yes", to shutdown any IE session currently open.

(Wait for the about:blank scan to complete.)

6. Click "Ok", to scan once more.
7. Click "Yes", to shutdown any IE sessions currently open.
8. Click "Yes", to begin the second pass.

9. Click "Save log", and post this log back along with your new log.
10. Click "Exit".
11. Click "Exit".
12. "Reboot"..

===============

Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

OR

You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u gpl.dll
regsvr32 /u ietm32.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save typing them in.

===============

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\WINDOWS\sdklg32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\sdkzt32.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Still in HiJackThis, click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

C:\WINDOWS\msmp32.exe

-

Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in "Safe Mode".

-

Reboot.

===============

To help protect your system from hostile ActiveX content, or special 'downloadable' files:

Download, install and keep updated, SpywareBlaster. If you've installed it for the first time:

1) Check for any available updates; if present, they'll be automatically downloaded and installed.
2) Next, "Enable all protection".
3) Exit the program.

-

Note: Remember to regularly check for updates.

===============

After rebooting your PC, post back a new log and let me know how everything goes.

:cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

CWS and VX2 are history......

No sign of them.......

THANK YOU....... ;)

You are welcome, but I would like to see another log taken after a reboot. Some files that are deleted can morph the file name, so it's best to be safe :).

Everything you say.......

We'll need to unload Spybot's Teatimer before we begin. To do this, right-click on the icon in the quick launch toolbar at the bottom on the screen, then select "Exit".

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {72FA69FF-2A03-C656-A77D-4F05C8C2CF21} - (no file)

O16 - DPF: {10000000-1000-0000-1000-000000000000} -
O16 - DPF: {11212111-2121-1311-1141-115611111222} -
O16 - DPF: {24311111-1111-1121-1111-111191113457} -

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Did you instal Spywareblaster?

Looks like I have another problem. I can delete those files, but when I reboot they appear again. Norton 2005 and AdAware can't find anything........

Are they dangerous, and how can I get rid of them ?

P.S.
I have instaled Spywareblaster.......

You do not want them on your PC. Go to Downloaded Program Files folder and clear out the contents. Close all instances of Internet Explorer first.
Any good files in there will be replaced at your next visit to the relevant site.
Reboot and post another log.

That folder is usually located in WINDOWS folder, if I'm not mistaking, but it is empty. I click with my right button and in the Properties window I see 3 files in it, but when I open folser normaly there isn't anything inside…..So I delete whole folder and create a new one with the same name and run Hijack This scan…..- no change, the files are still alive……

P.S.
How can anything be inside but not visible ?
In Folder options I unchecked everything that has to do with hiding files…….

OK. You definitely disabled Spybot's Tea-Timer and closed ALL Internet Explorer windows when you tried to delete those files, yes? If you did, then I am at a loss as to how else you can delete them.

I even downloaded CleanUp which deleted all my cookies and now I have to retype all passwords :( , but files won't go.................. :-|

Try booting into Safe Mode first, then scan with HJT and have it fix:

O16 - DPF: {10000000-1000-0000-1000-000000000000} -
O16 - DPF: {11212111-2121-1311-1141-115611111222} -
O16 - DPF: {24311111-1111-1121-1111-111191113457} -

Be sure all windows, other then hijackthis, are closed before hitting 'Fix checked.'

Reboot normally, close any open browser windows, scan with HJT, and post a new log.

No effect.....

I found one thing, if I deactivate Teatimer from Spybot S&D (tools>resident) and then run HijackThis then after reboot files are gone......

Now my Teatimer is off and HijackThis log looks like this:

But if I turn it back on, files are again active........

We'll need to unload Spybot's Teatimer before we begin. To do this, right-click on the icon in the quick launch toolbar at the bottom on the screen, then select "Exit".

:cheesy:

I am not fully aware of the workings of Tea-Timer, so all I can sugest is to uninstall Spybot, delete the Spybot folder, reboot and reinstall Spybot and update it.
If anyone else knows another way, please let us know :).
