Hi and welcome to Daniweb :).

Go here to TrendMicro for an on-line scan & set it to autoclean for you. When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.

Try this scan at Panda as well.

The scan here does not require an active X install, but uses java instead.
http://fr.trendmicro-europe.com/consumer/products/housecall_launch.php

Make sure you have Adaware SE 1.06 with fully updated definitions and do a full system scan.

Download & instal Spybot S&D 1.3 from here. Update it before scanning.
After the scan is complete, have spybot fix everything marked RED.
On the page that first opens when you start Spybot there is an option to immunise, you should do this. In the immunise section there is also a link to download Spywareblaster. This program will prevent the install of bad activex controls that it has knowledge of. Download that & you can keep it updated by selecting the same link that you use to download it. Reboot

After rebooting, please post another hijackthis log.

Hey thanks a lot crunchie... here is my new log:

You have a few things there that need removing...

===============

Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

OR

You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u inetwin.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save typing them in.

===============

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\Program Files\Eiykqi\Rjds.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Still in HiJackThis, click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

folders...

C:\Program Files\Eiykqi
C:\WINDOWS\Speech

files...

C:\WINDOWS\xnnili.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\462i4stc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\ALCXMNTR.EXE

-

Note that some of these file(s)/folder(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in "Safe Mode".

-

Reboot.

===============

To help protect your system from hostile ActiveX content, or special 'downloadable' files:

Download, install and keep updated, SpywareBlaster. If you've installed it for the first time:

1) Check for any available updates; if present, they'll be automatically downloaded and installed.
2) Next, "Enable all protection".
3) Exit the program.

-

Note: Remember to regularly check for updates.

===============

After rebooting, rescan with hijackthis and post back a new log. Let me know how everything goes.

alright... regsvr32 /u inetwin.dll did give me an error message... and i went into safe mode to try to delete windows\speech, safe mode wont boot up... all it is is a black screen. also when went in to try to delete C:\WINDOWS\ALCXMNTR.EXE i did a search to find it and found C:\windows\system32\reinstall backups\0010\driver files with the ALCXMNTR.EXE symbol... should i delete that also? I am now getting a runner error that says: invalid backweb application id "137903". i couldnt get everything to delete when i was running spybot and adaware so maybe its that... but i still have a couple toolbars i dont want also if you could help me out with that... thanks a lot for everything, here is a new scan:
