I tried to kill off yupsearch using the help in another thread, but it's not quite gone all the way. Somehow, whenever I reboot, it keeps getting put back in. HJT Log:

Any help would be most appreciated.

Edit: I know pokapoka61.exe is the offending process, I just don't know how to keep it gone. I've deleted the etb directory in safe mode at least three times already.

Download LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.
This will create a new folder called LQfix on your desktop.
Open the folder and doubleclick ClickThis.bat
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Your system will reboot afterwards.
Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.

When the above fix completes, delete these files:-
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllhost32.exe

Restart the PC once, and post a fresh HijackThis log.

I deleted ntdll.exe, but I didn't see the other two. There was spoolsv.exe and dllhost.exe, but I left those alone because they were Microsoft copyright. The bar is gone in IE, although I still think there are a few problems in the HJT log. I'm probably going to want to delete all of the R1s, right?

Hi,
Those R1 entries should be removed! But, there are some traces of RBot worm, we have to remove them too! Please download Ewido and install it. Then run, you will receive a warning message saying "Database not found", click "OK" for this. Next in the main screen, click "Update" and click "Start Update". After the update process, exit from Ewido.

Download CCleaner and install it.

Open a new file in NotePad, and copy the contents of the below "Quote" box:-

cd %windir%
cd system32
attrib -s -r -h ntdll.exe
del ntdll.exe
attrib -s -r -h spoolsv32.exe
del spoolsv32.exe
attrib -s -r -h dllhost32.exe
del dllhost32.exe

Go to File Menu > Save As and type the filename as Remove.BAT and save the file. Exit from NotePad.

Reboot in Safe Mode:-
Restart (or switch ON) the PC.
Then, keep tapping the F8 Key.
From the menu that will be displayed, out of which choose Safe Mode and press Enter.

Run HijackThis and click Do only a System scan.
Then put a check mark infront of below listed entries:-

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.eza1netsearch.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.eza1netsearch.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://www.eza1netsearch.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.eza1netsearch.com/sp2.php
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Installer] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Spooler] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows DLL Host] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllhost32.exe

Close all other open programs except Hijackthis and click the button Fix Checked in HijackThis.

Run CCleaner, click "Options" button and here go to "Advanced" tab and uncheck the option "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours". Click OK to exit from the Options. Finally click "Run Cleaner" and click "OK" to continue cleaning.

Run Ewido, click on the "Scanner" button in the left menu, then click on the "Complete System Scan" button.
If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "Clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.
When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file.

Double-click on the Remove.bat file that was created earlier. A DOS type window should open and close by itself.

Reboot to Normal Mode. Run HijackThis again, click Do a System scan and save log, and post the fresh log along with the Ewido log.
