I keep getting the Winfixer popups constantly I have Adaware and Spybot and have tried Ewido anti malware yet they still keep popping up. I also have another problem which im not totally sure is spyware related but basically if I do something on my desktop or browse folders my desktop will go blank except for my wallpaper for like 1 or 2 seconds then come back and all my folder windows will be closed, IE and other programs dont seem to be affected. Okay here is my hijack this log, any help will be appreciated:

Now empty everything out of your C:\Windows\Prefetch folder.

Reboot and let me know if the problem still persists..

Alright! Thank you so much! Even after running Vundofix and restarting I have seen none of my problems, I have fixed the files you told me to and run CCleaner which also freed up a lot of hard drive space :cheesy: restarted again and I still have not seen any problems but I will post again if anything pops back up (Pun intended  ) and thank you as well for replying so fast!

My pleasure :)

Vundofix shows it removed it, just wanted to verify.

D3m3nt3d, jus outta curiosity, how'd ya kno it was vundo? (Heh im tryin to learn this stuff :o )

Typically the biggest give-away is an 02 BHO and an accompanying 020 line both which have a matching random .dll

Usually the BHO is ATLDistrib Object or MSEvents Object, but there are a few more variants as well.

The fun stuff is when all the tools fail, and you have to go after it manually :)

Anything you have a question on, feel free to ask. I will do the best I can to answer it.
