I was just curious if this is just me or what but it's extremely annoying. I have installed Apache2 and PHP on my Linux Mint 14.1 Cinnamon machine fine, but when I use apt-get install mysql-server (as super user), this happens.

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

It's quite annoying, is there a different source I could get it from somehow? Is it just me or is everyone experiencing this issue?

I think it is just you and probably temporary. That IP resolves correctly to canonical (the company producing ubuntu).

It's been doing it to me since last night, I can't install MySQL really annoying me.

Can that host trace to any of the canonical? You might have a bad gateway on this server. YOu read the package info from cache but can't hit the repos when you really want to install.

Ok thanks guys that helps.
