Hi guys I've downloaded debian-6.0.7-i386-CD-5 cd from linux site and burned the image to a cd, so my problem is that my pc skip the boot from cd booting process.
My system type is x86-based pc, and I'm not sure if my system support the downloaded package
please advice
How do you mean "my pc skips the boot from cd"?
Press F10 or F5 when you restart the pc and see a black screen asking you a question on the bottom if you want to go to the BIOS screen.
Why are you trying to boot from CD 5? I would expect that CD 1 is the boot CD and CD 5 is not.
