My daughter's computer gives me this eror when it starts up... what does it mean? Can anyone give me some assistance? I am running Windiws XP...

Thank you, Caperjack. I did read the suggestions postings.. and I followed what irt advised.. but I still received the blue screen with BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. So, I put another hard drive I had here in it that had Windows XP loaded on it already, and everything is working fine. I did reduced the amount of memory to half of what I originally had it in. After installing the 'new' hard drive, I went to Crucial.com to scan it for a memory upgrade, but I found out that it had the maximum amt in it already. thank you for your assistance, and thank you all for welcoming as a new member!

Your welcome ,good to see you found a solution !
