I was given an older Dell laptop (a Latitude LXi w/pent I) which had been wiped. I need to get an operating system on it. It had originally had Win 95 so I downloaded a bootable 95 and saved it to floppy. The bios it set to read the floppy first. When I tried out the boot disk I got an error message that said "Non-system disk". So basically I just have a bios screen.
Anybody know how I can get an OS on this thing?

Thanks

a bootiable 95,maybe it need to be clicked on first,[ the file you downloaded ] and then will unpack to the floppy ,and it would only be a bootdisk to use with install win95 from the 95 cdrom ,if you have it, not a full 95 install
