Nothing works! Toshiba Tecra M4 new drive, new mother board, machine was working great until there was a major user boo boo!

Using recovery disks and F12 I can get to:
Toshiba Recovery Utility
1. Restore Original Factory Image (Recommended)
Advance User Options Only!
2. Restore partition C: of HDDonly
3. Restore Image to entire HDD without HDD recovery area

Which one?
I really don't want to lose any datea - is this possible?

Thanks so much for all the previous help - MgloryM

I think (will not guarantee) that 1 will restore the factory default and move all your data to a back-up folder. DO NOT use 3, obviously.
If you have multiple partitions use option 2, it will leave secondary partitions intact.

i could certainly could be wrong about this but i think all options will deleted and remove all data from drive ,defently don't use #3 ,how could this function possibly know where you or i keep out important data ,unless we kept everything in mydocuments.
factory settings had none of your data on it !!
