Hi everyone nice site.

Was wondering could I get some help. I put a fresh install of XP on a friends Dell but I can't seem to get the drivers for it. I tried downloading them from the Dell website but I kept getting this message

I'd be very grateful for any help...

Is your fresh install of XP on the C: drive?

Are you using a program from Dell that gets these drivers for you? If so, forget that and go right to their site and put in your service code and download each driver separately.

No I went to the Dell site and tried downloading them manually. I even tried Driver genius and driver detective.

Is your fresh install of XP on the C: drive?

Yes it is.
