Hi

Ive been using hotmail for years without any problems whatsoever.

Today MSN messenger signed in as usual and popped up with 6 new e-mails, i clicked to read (go to my hotmail inbox) and it loads for about 2 minutes then comes up with 'page cannot be displayed'.

Ive tried accessing my inbox through IE and Firefox and get the exact same problem. My wife tried logging into my inbox from her wrokplace and got in with no rpblems at all which i find very strange.

I have not changed any settings anywhere it just happened for no reason.

Can anybody help as my e-mails are very important to my business and i cannot access them.

Ive tried rebooting, clearing cache, cookies, temp internet files e.t.c with no luck.

Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you are having issues with accessing pages over SSL. Can you access the links below (let me know the results of trying to access each link)?

Link #1
Link #2

Hi

Thanks so much for replying,

I tried the two links and they work perfectly, i can sign into my account and the 2nd link works aswell..

I have no problem accessing secure sights as i tried my online banking e.t.c with no problem at all.

But still not hotmail.

Any thoughts on this?

Kind Regards

Ash :?:

I am having the same problem. One account of three refuses to log in. It's not password errror, it's simply time out... :-(

Yes

Although in my case i tried logging into my other hotmail account and my wifes and they just come up with 'page cannot be displayed' aswell.

While my Wife has logged into them all from other PC's with ease when i asked her to try....Very Strange..

Try referring to the suggestions in this thread. If you are able to fix the problem with the suggestions, great. If not, let me know and we can go from there.

Hi Chris

Thanks again but i already went through that thread and did everything in it before i even posted the problem, iv'e looked all over the web for a solution and i posted in here as my final option/lifeline, i even tried this 'hotmail login fixer.zip' which did nothing.

Im totally lost what to do next?

Regards

Ash

What's interesting is that it seems like many people are having the same issue at nearly the same time. There aren't really any good answers out there on what to try, so I sent a formal help request into Passport technical support. Hopefully I'll get more than just a stock response that doesen't give any real help. I'll update the thread with whatever I find or receive from the powers that be.

Hi

Hi I was wondering if you got any help for this problem yet??? I've got the same problem and can not get a lick of help from anyone. Thanks for your time, Libby

Hey,

Yeah its all sorted now! Got help from my IT support at my uni. It turned out to be to do with my wireless card. I had a B card and then when i upgraded to a G card all was well! So if you have a wireless card it might be to do with that!

Well it worked for me

Good luck :cheesy:
