the other day my system got screwed up. I cannot use the installation disk to repair the installation. Basically what i want to do is simply get my things off and onto a usb thumbdrive, does anyone have advise on the best way, if i use a floppy boot-up, can i open a program i have on a thumb drive("ntfsdos"), if so how? Thanks

Take the HDD out set as slve on the jumpuers on the back put it in another PC then you can get all your stuff.

or download a copy of DOS, load it onto a bootable floppy and then use copy, xcopy...
