I get this error when i start up my computer(its in voice) and a lil thingy pops up saying CPU over temp press F1 to contuine. Any thoughts

I dont think putting the motherboard in the fridge would help you that very much, but you might have a chance by checking your cooling fans on the processor. Giving it a good clean might do you good. SOmetimes dirt gets deposited on teh tips of cooler fan which might not let the air flow to the processor properly. Giving it a clean could help, also I'd check for the thermal paste on teh processor. May be that needs changing to allow the heat from processor to tranfer to the heat sink.
