closing parent form after opning child form

i m having trouble in my project
i have made a login form from which i have opened another form , now i want to close login form after opening child form
pls help

Dont do it that way, hide the parent form, and show the login form, if the log in fails, then close the parent, if not, show it.

hi ? linz said its correct. can u do like in 2nd form load just write like
1.create a instance of Ist form in Form2() //constructor
Form1 frm1 =new Form1();
frm1.close();

if is it working correct plz specify RESOLVED
