Knuth's Art of Programming books are the only ones consistently recommended, but they are not in C++.

Great book, worst code ever. Edward still recommends it because the non-code parts are so good. Who knows, you might also learn a lot by fixing the broken code examples too. ;)

What about code corrections on the publishers site?!

If having an errata makes you feel better, more power to you. :) Edward found more than obvious typos while working through the book though. A short list of typos is all the errata seem to correct.

Btw Who's Edward (or why're you talking about yourself in 3rd person)?! :D
