It says that it's unable to start the program. I also tried with many other codes and still the same error. Is is to the compiler? I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express edition. Is some other program required for these source codes to work. Is some kind of an output needed? Your help is very appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The errors probably stem from the fact that this is fairly out-of-date code. It uses pre-standard headers, which can change the way the code works. I believe that the Microsoft compiler doesn't let you use pre-standard headers.

If you're just starting out, this code is probably too complex for you to understand. If you can't understand it, you won't get much out of it. You might want to look for something simpler.

Yes, I'm aware of that. But it's not only this code. I put this only for example but even with simple codes it still shows error. Can you post some decent code so that I try it..? Is the compiler ok ? Thanks.

This is a plain-old console-based "Hello World" program, written and tested on VC++ 2008. You will need to create it as either a Win32 Console Application or a General Empty Project...

Yes this does work. So, what was the problem? I have a lot of other extremelly useful codes like the previous. If they're outdated could you point me where to find some that will work or maybe how to fix them. Thanks
