i have a java program that store arabic data in ms access to let the arabic writing apper i should change the uni code of the operating system but when i give it to my friends to insert data on thier laptop but they forget to change the unicoding so the data become like that åíãä ÚÈÏÇáãÌíÏ so is there is a way to change it to arabic while it is in ms access????

look into charsets make sure you have the same configured for your DB. if your DB doesn't 'understand' arabic symbols, he won't interpret them right.
