I'm reluctantly supporting Kerry. He's not far enough to the left for me, but he's better than Bush. I would support Nader or the Socialist Party USA candidate, but my time is better spent with Kerry this year.

I will vote for a name on the ballot that I don't recognize. I am very sure that Kerry is going to win the election.

As I dont live in the USA, I cant vote, if I did, as a center right conservative (I live in the UK) I would vote Bush. I quite like Bush, and hope he can get back into office and finnish off Iraq, so they Iraqies can get their country back FULLY.

It will inevitably become a puppet government. Look at Chile, 1973.

Now, before this thread goes any further, let me say something:

Things haven't gotten out of hand or anything, but remember to stay civil. Politics can be touchy, and some people have a tendancy to get ugly over these things. Let's keep at heart we're all one, nice, happy community, and if we don't get along, Alex will come with a wet trout and smack you into submission while closing the thread. ;)

But yeah, just be nice.

Dont worry about it getting out of hand from me. I am willing to debate the issues, everyone has different opinions, as long as we all respect that their shouldnt be problems.

I dont know anything about Chile, I wasnt born at the time. However back to Iraq, yes, I agree, it would be a pupet government. For a short period. They have been dictated to for how many years, 23? 24?. They need to learn democracy again, they need to learn how to be independant, they need to learn to be free, free to talk, free to disagree with the govenrment without the fear of being killed, it all takes time, and wont happen overnight, and may never happen if Kerry wins and pulls out of Iraq, leaving another fool like Saddam take over again.

I think you've said everything that I would say, so I will add nothing.
