I'm a vba and former vb6 developer and I work in the UK, mainly in Access, Excel and sqlServer. I've been learning VB.Net 2005 for a couple of years as a hobby. I've joined the forum because of selfish reasons, yes youre right, I've got a problem. I'll use another thread for that. Tried to send it earlier but I should have logged out and then back in again after joining.

One thing I've found is that if you work for an organisation that doesnt use Visual Studio the learning curve is slow because you either need books (lots of them) or Google. Hopefully using Daniweb I can improve that and also help in the future.
