Im working on Windows XP, and currenty I can not make my desktop wallpaper an image. I can only choose colors from a pallet. I can not even choose a pre-existing pattern that windows put in. It's been greyed out. I've checked for spyware, changed my desktop into a web page which shows up, and back again. When I try to "Set as background" with an image it does nothing and resumes the color already that was on my desktop before. I've never come across this before. It's a personal comp so no admin probelms. Thanks for any info on this issue.

Wrong forum of course...but ya might wanna try a differnt format of a picture ya want as a background.
