Need Advice for audio software

Hi everyone. I am looking for an audio software program that will allow me to record my voice over music which I already have in my hard drive. Basicly I need to have a recorded speech with ambient music playing in the backround. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure but you can use windows movie maker for this purpose .... and ofcourse Adobe premiere is a lot better and advanced tool for this purpose.

At work, I use an old copy of Vegas Video (which includes Vegas Audio).

At home, I use a free program called Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ) to record and edit myself reading stuff to learn in the car. I really like the program, it can do multiple tracks, and it's available for a variety of OSes.
