Hi,

I have an include file called 'includes/header.php' and would like to know the impact of this file on SEO and Search Engine Rankings, Keywords and Descriptions.

1) Would I be better saving the file as header.html (although it does have php code in it) ?

2) I have a robot file that also disallows indexing on the includes folder where header.php is since it has a config include file in that folder as well ?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Thanks

Hi, php generates html pages, and that generated pages are what is important for SEO. On page optimisation on generated html page counts. Title, url of the page, <h1>, <h2>, title of images etc.
