Hi there, anyone who has any idea on how to recover from the recent google update?

We await some tips.

Were you also hit by the Google Helpful Content Update that ran the week before the September core update?

I saw a big win from the helpful content update, and then it crashed right back to where it started after the core update. Unfortunately, Google hasn't announced anything specific that this core update focused on, and I haven't noticed an overwhelming specific type of site affected (e.g. mostly ecommerce sites, mostly user generated content, etc). I have seen, however, that it was common for it to yo-yo / over-correct in conjunction with the helpful content update.
