Hi all,

Does anyone know why my laptop has stopped charging? I have never had this problem before. It was working fine one day and stopped the next. Laptop is completely dead now. I have tried swapping the fuse and obtaining a new power supply but still has not worked. I cannot believe I have only had it 18 months and the dvd drive has gone twice in it and now something else which could be expensive to replace. Has anyone got any ideas on the problem and estimated costs involved?

Could it be the bad battery ie the battery is not getting charged? May be there is a loose connection form the mains to the battery. Also if you laptop is only 18mths old there might be warranty left on it or has it run out already?
