Within the first 5 mins of powering on the pc the CPU's temp is already at 70 degrees!!! slowly the temp creeps up to 80!!!! PC keeps on restarting/crashing etc. & also the voltage ranges from 1.76 V to 1.81 V!!! Is this the sign of a failing CPU? or a failing heatsink?? any solutions would be great.

We probably need a more complete idea of your setup. I would definitely think about your psu - a lot of people put together a really good system and just take the cheapo psu that comes with the case. How many fans? What kind of cooling tower on the cpu? What is the MoBo?
