I recently bought a new pc with an onboard video card. In xp and in the BIOS, i see that it has 128MB of video memory, but vista will say i have only 16MB of vram, so i can't turn on all the cool features in it. Does any one know what's causing this?

Jump to PostVista needs a dedicated graphics chip (at least of the FX5200 level) with 128 MB of dedicated vram to switch on the eye candy. I doubt you can view the aero interface in all it's glory using an onboard chip.
