I'm a new computer builder and I was wondering if anyone could tell me that if it is necessary to get a motherboard and CPU with the same FSB. I have an ASUS P5NSLI motherboard with a FSB of 1066 and I was planning on getting an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHZ CPU with a FSB of 1333. Is this ok or do i need to get a different processor?

The FSB of the processor and mobo need to match. You might be able to run the processor in question in the mobo in question, but you won't get anywhere near the 2.66 GHz rated speed out of it. FSB stands for "Front Side Bus", and is the "clock" that determines processor speed.
