Thanks for the info but the problem starts from the very beginning! I CANNOT SEE WHAT IM DOING!! Even from the very first click of the switch all i can see is these crazy trippy colors! I'm starting to think this might be a monitor problem, which i guess would be good in terms of not screwing me over! :-|

It's either the monitor or the graphics card. Can you get another to test with?
