Here is my log.
This started out as 213.159.117.132/redir.php last week. I finally got CWShredder to work and could get on the web.

Now about:blank I can't rid myself of. I used CWSHredder, Adware, Spybot and Norton Anti-Virus.

Norton is NOT picking up anything. I have it on automatic. Last night I scanned and came up with 4, Bloodhound and PW Steal. On 6/10 after I started the scan it came up with a variety of about 12.

Whenever I start my computer it now says Pljmpb32.exe cannot be executed, but it's always running in my processess. When i log off the reverse happens and it cant be ended along with dwwin.exe.

I might have to give up Charter on go to AOL to keep my 17y/o off of adult sites.

Anyway heres the log and what I noticed is that sometimes IEXPLOER runs also. I'm not sure if I update my service pack, but now when I try to do it the operation fails and when I troubleshoot Microsoft tells me there is no known fix. I am trying to avoid starting all over I just did that with the Sasser virus.

I am also getting a message and am running low on virtual memory.

That looks good. Any more problems?

I'm still getting the about:blank popups, but it's not changing my homepage. I took chance and ran Norton in Safe mode last night and I was infected with msnmsgr.exe virus d6ll virus and a couple of others. I always run Norton, but it didn't pick them up. This is the second time. I wonder if I wasted my money?!
I removed everything that was related to the viruses, but I can't shake that about:blank popups whenever I go on the web.

I don't understand why people do this. If they would concentrate on finding a cure for cancer their time would be better served.

Try clearing out your temp internet files then post another log & I'll have another check.

I did what you said two days ago and the pop ups stopped. Thanks for you help.
