Access Router Configurations through Linux Terminal

So I am pretty sure I know the answer to this but just want to check.

I run a Debian GNU/Linux at home and I have set up the necessary port forwarding for Apache and SSH. However, I have been planning to enable FTP and of course I did not get around to it until I was traveling. I cannot seem to access my router's web interface through the browser. I thought I use to be able to before I setup my web server but even stopping the Apache2 process does not let me access it. Is there a way to access and configure a Linksys WRG54T router through the terminal? I have not been able to find any documentation on this. Also, I brought all of my notebooks with me so I do not have anything I can remote into. SSH is my only option.

Thanks!
