hey guys and gals, i can't afford nero at the moment but i need to burn some dvd videos so they can play back in a dvd player. can anyone help me out here. help would be much appreciated.

The best software for your needs is ImgBurn. It is much better then Nero for this task and best of all it is free (even for commercial use). Another good alternative id CDBurnerXP, but it doesn't have very good support for DVD-Video at this moment.

If you need to transcode from other formats to MPEG-2 (DVD-Video). You can try DVD Flick or FAVC.
