I have a lenovo R61i and it has windows vista on it, when I try to put the XP disk it it tries to load and when i get up to the bit where it says setup press enter I get a error that says no hard drives found.
I can boot vista ????

before you install XP you MUST partition the drive, UNLESS you want to wipe Vista from the disk.

its ok now I had to set the sata to compatability mode in the BIOS TY anyway mate
