I need to do this process decribed in that article on the microsoft site, i thought i had it all figured out, then wn step 2 part 2, it simply states "Press a key when you are promped to restart from the disc." I cannot figure out how to do this. I have place the cd in the rom, and restarted and it just boots up normally, no prompt no windows setup from the disc or anything. After some thought i realized that it is probably becuase that the vista is home basic, but it was the "Upgrade". Is that my problem or am i just simply not doing something, or can anyone help me out?

it is set to boot up from Floppy drive, then Cd- Rom Device, then C drive
