I don't see much mention of Netscape as a substitution for IE. I am running windows XP. What are best/better options: Netscape, Opera, or FireFox?

Thanks for input.

Netscape is crap.
Firefox is netscape on steroids (and with less bugs). So is IE in fact.

Netscape standards compliance is abysmal, performance is poor, the only reason noone writes exploits for the miriad holes in it is because noone uses it.

The best I have found is Firefox.

It is free, easy to use and is NOT Netscape on steroids....

I tried Opera but found it had many more features than I needed or wanted.

In reference to the previous poster boy... well if I cant say anything good maybe I will just say...

Thank you. Firefox it is...

Also Thunderbird is a good alternative if you want to use something other than Outlook Express for email.

Netscape wont be able to render DHTML appropriately.
Netscape 7.0 has a better engine (but the inbuilt features are more company specific)

Users are getting attracted towards FireFox these days.
Although, IE is best choice ;)

i think firefox is the best, the only thing we need internet explorer for is for windows updates ;)
