Can anyone tell me why appointments in outlook exchange 2003 would have the right time when I send them, but the receiver's time is one hour behind. We are both in the same building.

Check the locale settings on your computer (the timezone and daylight savings time settings). You should be able to get at these settings from double clicking on your system clock.

See this article from Microsoft as well:
How Outlook handles time zones for meeting requests
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/195900

when you click to set up a new appointment in Outlook there is a time zone button in the event box click on this and ensure that your time zone is correct and also that the time zone of your colleague is correct as Outlook can automatically convert meeting times to other time zones.

One receipient is using 2003 and the other 2007. Would that make a difference?
