I'm interested in setting up a home server. However, I am not very knowledgeable in the home server software that is available.
I have heard a few things about MSFT home server and ubuntu home server, but not enough to make a definite decision yet.
I like hearing feedback from actual use cases. Could anyone help me with my decision? Just looking to further my rather limited server maintenance experience.
Your decision should be based on your requirements. Post your requirements like the software you would like to use at home. How do you allow an internet access to other computers in the home? etc.
